Despite its Far Eastern name, it is not a Japanese gin, but a gin produced in Spain whose style is clearly inspired by Japanese flavours. The base is a rice spirit, which is macerated together with juniper and the characteristic yuzu lemon and then distilled. Yuzu is one of the most valuable fruits in Japan and characterises the profile of this gin with its intense, fresh citrus note.
