It is produced at the young but already highly regarded Kanosuke Distillery, which was founded in 2017 on the sun-drenched west coast of the Japanese island of Kyūshū. With a direct view of the East China Sea, a whisky is created here that possesses both regional character and international calibre.

The whisky matures in a diverse combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and American oak casks, lending it a multi-layered and harmoniously balanced profile. The alcohol content of 48% ABV emphasises the aromatic depth and ensures an intense yet pleasantly rounded tasting experience. It is, of course, bottled without chill filtration and in its natural colour, in keeping with an authentic and quality-conscious production process.
