The distillery produces two distinct single malt styles: the unpeated, fruity Tobermory and the smoky, peated Ledaig. For this bottling, the Tobermory is matured for a total of 21 years and is then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The long cask maturation and the sherry cask finish combine with the maritime influence of the Isle of Mull, whose coastal air and surroundings shape the distillery’s distinctive character of origin. The Tobermory 21 Years Old is bottled at 46.3% in a 0.7-litre bottle, complete with a gift box. The distillery places particular emphasis on keeping the presentation as authentic as possible: the whisky is non-chill-filtered and retains its natural colour without any added colouring. This is intended to preserve the mouthfeel and complexity of this long-matured bottling as much as possible.
