Aviation Gin, made in Portland, Oregon, under the direction of Master Distillers Christian Krogstad and Andrew Tice, is known for its lighter and smoother flavour compared to other dry gins. The production process begins with a blend of selected botanicals such as cardamom, coriander, lavender, aniseed, sarsaparilla, juniper and orange peel, which are macerated for 18 hours. The macerate is then distilled, removing the first and last part of the distillate to keep only the high-quality middle part - the "heart cut" - which is then diluted to 84% alcohol content, bottled and prepared for shipping.
