Curado Tequila Blanco Cupreata 40% vol. 0.7 l is a unique tequila produced from the rare Cupreata agave, which thrives in Michoacán. To produce Curado Tequila, a Blanco tequila from the highlands of Jalisco is first used as a base. The spirit is then infused with pieces of cooked agave to enhance the flavours in a very special way. Originally, only blue agave from Jalisco was used for the infusion, but over time the project evolved to include other agave varieties from various regions of Mexico. Curado Tequila is therefore a tequila that captures not only the flavour of the blue agave, but also that of regional agave varieties such as Espadín from Oaxaca and Cupreata from Michoacán, giving it a remarkable complexity. With its philosophy of ‘building bridges, not walls’, Curado aims to bring together the cultural traditions and knowledge of Mexico’s various regions.

Curado Tequila Blanco Cupreata is made specifically from the Cupreata agave, which grows in Michoacán and is renowned for its complex and unique flavours. This agave is cooked using the region’s traditional method and then transported to Jalisco, where it is infused with the finest 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from the Jalisco Highlands. The infusion process ensures a harmonious blend of the fresh, herbal notes of the Cupreata agave with the clean, robust base of the Blanco tequila. Curado Tequila Blanco Cupreata offers an intense tequila experience that reflects the authenticity and versatility of this unique agave.
