The Courvoisier VS Cognac is a refined and particularly popular Cognac, known for its fine balance of fruitiness, spice and woody notes. Courvoisier is one of the four leading Cognac houses in the world and has a long tradition dating back to 1828. Legend has it that Courvoisier was chosen by the Kaiser Napoleon himself as his favourite Cognac, which is why this Cognac is also known as the "Napoleon Cognac". Courvoisier VS is a blend of cognacs aged between three and seven years in oak barrels, mainly from the Crus Fins Bois and a little Petite Champagne. This blend of cognacs matured for different lengths of time ensures a particularly broad and complex flavour experience.

With an alcohol content of 40% vol., the Courvoisier VS has a pleasant strength that comes into its own both neat and in cocktails. The careful production and skilful blending of the different crus make the Courvoisier VS an excellently balanced cognac, characterised by fruity aromas of apples and plums as well as a gentle vanilla note. The wooden barrel maturation also gives it a pleasant depth and subtle flavour.
