Rum Malecon Añejo 12 Años Reserva Superior rum is a 12-year-old rum from Panama, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, supplied in a 0.7-litre bottle including a gift box. It is produced using a traditional Cuban-style distillation method, which defines the characteristic style of the Rum Malecon brand. After distillation, the rum is given ample time to develop and is aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon oak casks. Ageing under Panama’s climatic conditions and the long-term contact with the cask ensure that the initial alcoholic sharpness gradually rounds off, giving rise to a smooth, mature character. Once the ageing process is complete, the selected rum batches are carefully blended together by the Master Blender.
