The Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% vol. 0.7 l + GB is the second exceptional release in the renowned Concertmaster series and epitomises the perfect fusion of Taiwanese whisky-making artistry and classic cask finishing. Produced at the Kavalan Distillery in Yilan, Taiwan’s first and most significant distillery, this whisky combines the tropical climate, the purest spring water from the snow-capped mountains and masterful craftsmanship to create an elegant, harmonious single malt.

The Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish is initially matured in refill bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This maturation process lends it its fruity depth, nutty sweetness and velvety texture. In contrast to the Port Cask Edition, this variant emphasises the warm, aromatic complexity of sherry maturation – an expression of a delicate balance between wood, fruit and subtle spice. Bottled at 40% ABV, with its natural colour and unchill-filtered, it presents itself in its purest form.
