Slyrs Single Malt Whisky Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish, at 46% ABV and in a 0.7-litre bottle, is an exclusive Upper Bavarian whisky that reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the Slyrs Distillery. Since 1999, the Slyrs Distillery has been producing the first and only Upper Bavarian single malt whisky, distilled using the classic ‘Rau’ and ‘Feinbrand’ methods. The name ‘Slyrs’ is a pseudo-Gaelic variation of ‘Schliersee’, the distillery’s home town, and reflects both its regional roots and traditional whisky-making methods.

The Slyrs Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish is crafted from the finest barley malt and pure mountain spring water; the whisky matures in new 225-litre oak casks before being bottled as a vintage spirit. This whisky derives its distinctive finish from a nine-month maturation in casks from the renowned Spanish Bodegas Tradición, which lend the whisky a unique depth and its characteristic sherry notes. The result is a full-bodied, complex whisky characterised by its fruity aromas and harmonious balance.
