The STIN Styrian Dry Gin OVERPROOF 57% vol. embodies the bold flavour of Styrian gin, combining regional ingredients with meticulous craftsmanship. A total of 28 botanicals define its distinctive style, including juniper berries, apples from southern Styria, elderberries from eastern Styria, lemons and oranges, as well as caraway, coriander, ginger, cardamom and pepper. Before distillation, the botanicals are macerated for several days in alcohol of agricultural origin to allow their essential oils and aromas to infuse intensively. The Styrian Dry Gin is then distilled particularly gently in small batches in a copper still. The production process follows the strict method of a London Dry Gin, which is why no flavouring additives are added after distillation.

For the STIN Overproof Navy Strength Gin, the distillate is diluted with Styrian spring water to 57% vol. Unlike with the Classic Proof, the producers deliberately refrain from filtering the Overproof, thereby preserving a particularly high concentration of essential oils from juniper and citrus fruits. When diluted or mixed, this can result in a natural cloudiness, which reveals the high proportion of aromatic oils. The bottling process also underlines the commitment to craftsmanship: each 0.5-litre bottle is filled by hand, sealed with a natural cork and then wax-sealed by hand. The STIN Overproof 57% thus combines small-batch distillation, Styrian ingredients, intense botanical aromas and traditional craftsmanship to create a particularly expressive navy strength gin from Austria.
