Description
Liquore Strega was first produced in 1860 and has since been renowned for its unique blend of over 70 herbs and spices, sourced predominantly from Europe, Central America and the Orient. Once the carefully blended mixture of spices has been prepared, the liqueur is left to mature in oak barrels, which lends it additional depth and complexity. It owes its characteristic yellow colour primarily to the high proportion of saffron in the recipe.
The origins of this time-honoured liqueur lie in an ancient legend which states that the city of Benevento was once regarded as the meeting place for all the witches of the world. This mysterious story not only contributes to the mystical aura of Liquore Strega, but also sets it apart historically from other liqueurs and gives it a unique heritage.
The item is available in three different colours, with the colour selected at random.
