The Kavalan SOLIST Fino Sherry Cask is an impressive single-cask bottling from the renowned Kavalan Distillery and epitomises the Taiwanese distillery’s exceptional expertise in cask maturation. As part of the acclaimed SOLIST range, this single malt is bottled at cask strength and is sourced from a single Fino sherry cask, which lends the whisky its distinctive, dry and structured character. At 57% ABV, this bottling is presented unadulterated, non-chill-filtered and without colouring. The whisky is delivered in a high-quality wooden box, which further emphasises its exclusive character.

Maturation in Fino sherry casks is comparatively rare in the world of whisky and differs significantly from the rich, sweet influences of classic Oloroso or PX casks. Combined with Taiwan’s warm, humid climate, this accelerates the maturation process, resulting in intense cask interaction, depth and concentration. The Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry Cask is aimed at experienced connoisseurs and collectors who appreciate dry sherry cask profiles, cask strength and uncompromising single-cask quality. Every bottle is unique and reflects the individual characteristics of its cask.
