Zacapa is internationally recognised for its high-quality rums, which are produced using a unique and extremely complex ageing process.

The rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala, where the cool climate and high altitude create optimal conditions for ageing. The sugar cane used, which grows on fertile volcanic soil, gives the rum a distinctive flavour profile that sets it apart from other varieties.
