El Dorado 5 Years Old Cask Aged Demerara Rum is an excellent, cask-aged rum from Guyana that is known for its harmonious balance between spice, sweetness and fruity notes. It is distilled from the best Demerara sugar cane molasses and produced in a combination of traditional wood and copper stills before maturing for five years in oak barrels. This careful ageing gives it a pleasant depth and a remarkable smoothness that makes it ideal both for pure enjoyment and for high-quality cocktails.

With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, El Dorado 5 Years Old has a perfect balance of strong flavours and a smooth, slightly sweet texture. The barrel ageing contributes to the development of vanilla, caramel and oak notes, while fruity and spicy nuances round off the flavour.
