Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company of the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, also known as the Silicon Valley of India.

The group was founded in 1948 by Mr Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small liquor blending and bottling plant.

The name "Fusion" takes centre stage in this bottling, as it harmoniously combines unpeated Indian barley with peated Scottish barley. Firstly, the two barley varieties are matured separately in bourbon barrels for 4 years each.

They are then carefully combined and matured for a further 3 months in bourbon barrels.
