Nestled between orchards and vineyards lies the historic Hödl Hof distillery, where fine spirits have been produced for generations in the old Styrian tradition. The quality of the spirits is guaranteed by the use of a 300-litre bootleg kettle and a 200-litre fine distillation kettle made of pure copper. The company's own fruit is transported directly from the orchards to the fermentation cellars, where it is fermented gently and at a controlled temperature. After the double distillation process, which reflects the essence of the old Styrian art of distilling, only the high-proof centrepiece of the brandy is extracted. This is then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel to perfect its character.

Williams schnapps is a timeless classic among fruit brandies and impresses with its fresh and characteristic flavour. Over 15,000 Williams pear trees thrive on the Hödl Hof, the fruit of which is cultivated with the utmost care. The Williams pears used for this fine schnapps come from Hödl Hof's own orchards as well as from selected fruit growers in the region.
