The Nonino Grappa Monovitigno il Prosecco in barriques with 41% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle including gift box stands for the consistent Monovitigno philosophy and the highest level of precision craftsmanship from Friuli. The grappa is produced by the renowned Nonino Distillatori and is based exclusively on fresh vinacce of the Glera grape from selected Prosecco zones. The pomace is processed immediately after pressing and stabilised under vacuum in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to avoid secondary fermentation and preserve the varietal typicity.


The discontinuous steam distillation is carried out very slowly in specially developed copper steam stills with a precise cut of the pre- and post-run. This preserves the volatile, aromatic components. The grappa then matures naturally for 24 months in barriques and small barrels in the company's own officially sealed cellars under permanent supervision. It is bottled without colouring agents, which authentically reflects the natural colour and elegant barrel finish. The result is a mature grappa with a clear structure, floral elegance and finely integrated woody notes.
