Only fully ripe, 100% Blue Weber agaves, harvested by hand, are used in the production process. Following the traditional steaming process, the agave hearts are gently processed and crushed using both modern roller mills and the traditional tahona stone. Distillation then takes place in small batches. As a silver tequila, Patrón is bottled immediately after distillation or after a short resting period, ensuring that the fresh agave aromas remain particularly intense.
