It is produced by Ron Barceló, a long-established Dominican brand whose history dates back to 1930. For the Barceló Dorado, selected rum components that have been naturally aged for up to two years are blended together. The rum is aged in American oak casks that previously contained bourbon, which gives it additional warmth, subtle woody notes and a delicate sweetness.
