The name Navy Island Rum refers to the small island off Port Antonio, which was used by the British fleet in the 18th century, thus reflecting Jamaica’s maritime history. For this XO Reserve Jamaican rum, selected pot-still rums from Jamaica, distilled from molasses, are blended together. Following its initial maturation, the cuvée is finished for at least six months in ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, complementing the intense Jamaican rum character with notes of raisins, dark fruits, vanilla and caramelised cask notes.

The 2026 Edition is bottled at an impressive 63.5% ABV at cask strength, making it specifically aimed at connoisseurs of concentrated, unadulterated rum styles. No chill filtration or colouring is used, ensuring that the dense structure and powerful aromatics are fully preserved. Dark chocolate and concentrated raisins meet syrupy PX notes, dry spice and robust oak, before a long-lasting finish adds further depth.
