Description
Baileys The Original Irish Cream is one of the world’s best-known Irish cream liqueurs, combining Irish cream with Irish whisky and other spirits to create a characteristically creamy speciality. Baileys was developed in the early 1970s and first launched in 1974. Since then, the brand has established itself internationally as a leading representative of the Irish cream liqueur category. To produce it, Irish milk is turned into cream and combined with the alcoholic base, as well as cocoa and vanilla flavourings. Careful emulsification ensures that the cream and alcohol blend to form the smooth, velvety consistency typical of Baileys. With an alcohol content of 17 per cent, the liqueur remains comparatively mild and versatile.
This version of Baileys Original Irish Cream is available in a particularly generous 1.5-litre bottle, making it ideal for the hospitality industry, parties or for stocking up your home bar. The recipe combines Irish cream, whisky, cocoa and vanilla to create a distinctive overall character, making Baileys versatile both for enjoying on its own and as an ingredient in drinks and desserts. It is precisely the 1.5-litre large-format bottle that sets this variant apart from the usual standard bottles and makes it ideal for occasions with several guests. As a classic Irish cream liqueur, Baileys can also be used to enhance a wide range of coffee, ice-cream and dessert creations.
