Duppy Share Spiced Caribbean Rum combines matured Caribbean rum with an expressive selection of natural spices and botanicals. According to the manufacturer, rums from the Caribbean that have been matured for two years are used for bottling, and these are then refined with their characteristic blend of spices. The focus is on pineapple and kola nut, complemented by natural ingredients such as ginger, vanilla, grapefruit, cloves, nutmeg, basil and orange. The result is a modern spiced rum at 37.5 per cent ABV, in which the spicy components are deliberately built upon a base of matured rum. The 0.7-litre bottle was also awarded two stars at the Great Taste Awards.
