Archibald Lauder, after whom the brand is named, ran a pub in Glasgow where, over the years, he developed various whisky blends and presented them to his guests. This eventually gave rise to the blend that became known as Lauder's. To produce it, selected malt and grain whiskies are blended together to create a balanced and approachable Scotch.
