The GlenDronach House Editions The Sevillian Room is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that combines the GlenDronach Distillery’s traditional expertise in sherry cask maturation with a tribute to the Spanish city of Seville. This bottling is part of the GlenDronach House Editions launched in 2026, which were developed to mark the distillery’s 200th anniversary. Master Blender Rachel Barrie spent around two years working on the new series. For The Sevillian Room, Oloroso sherry casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Palo Cortado sherry casks are combined. It is precisely the additional influence of Palo Cortado that gives this edition a special status and reflects Seville’s close connection to Andalusian sherry culture.

The Sevillian Room is designed as a permanent release for the global travel retail market and is available at 43 per cent in a generous 1-litre bottle, complete with a gift box. The inspiration ranges from Seville’s orange trees and sun-drenched squares to the city’s Moorish-influenced architecture. At the same time, it retains The GlenDronach’s signature style, in which maturation in various sherry casks plays a central role. Furthermore, the whisky is bottled without chill filtration. The combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Palo Cortado sherry casks, its Highland origins and its exclusive focus on the travel retail market makes The Sevillian Room a unique interpretation of the classic The GlenDronach Sherry Cask Single Malt.
