Chivas Regal EXTRA 13 Years Old AMERICAN RYE CASKS Finish is a 13-year-old blended Scotch whisky that combines the familiar Chivas Regal style with an additional American cask influence. For this special edition, part of the 13-year-old blend is finished in ex-American rye casks. This additional finish enhances the classic Chivas character and embodies the concept of ‘extra aged, extra cask, extra flavour’. At the same time, the choice of casks reflects the brand’s historical connection to the United States. Chivas Regal entered the American market as early as 1909 and proved particularly popular in New York. The rye cask finish draws on this shared history and translates it into a modern bottling.


Chivas Extra 13 American Rye Casks Finish is available at 40 per cent ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, complete with a gift box. A key aspect of the production process is that not all of the whisky is matured in rye casks; instead, a specific portion of the blend undergoes a finish in American rye casks. This preserves the smooth and balanced core character of Chivas Regal, whilst the additional cask finish adds further nuances. The combination of 13 years’ maturation, Blended Scotch Whisky and a partial American rye cask finish makes this edition a distinctive variant within the Chivas Extra 13 range. The accompanying gift box further emphasises the high-quality, gift-worthy nature of the bottling.
