This single malt comes from St. Kilian Distillers in Rüdenau, Lower Franconia, and was matured for a total of four years in a single French oak barrique. What makes it special is the cask’s previous contents: it had previously held Turkish apricot brandy, whose intense fruity character was imparted to the whisky during maturation.
