To achieve its characteristic style, whiskies from carefully selected first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks and first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks are blended together. Complemented by selected refill casks, the result is an exceptionally well-balanced blend of spicy sweetness, fruitiness and the typically gentle smokiness of Orkney heather peat. The natural golden amber colour comes directly from the casks. At 40% ABV, this Island single malt whisky impresses with its harmonious structure and versatile character.
