The name Rey Campero translates as ‘King of the Land’ and symbolises a close connection to nature, the agave plant and traditional production methods. The high-quality 0.7 l bottle contains a mezcal made exclusively from the Espadín agave variety, the most important and widespread mezcal agave in Mexico.


The harvested Espadín agaves are processed using traditional methods and then fermented in the open air with natural wild yeasts. This spontaneous fermentation lends the distillate additional complexity and a distinctive character. Following fermentation, the spirit undergoes double distillation in copper stills, resulting in a particularly expressive and authentic mezcal. With a robust 48.3% ABV, Rey Campero Espadín is intense, complex and unadulterated.
