The fourteenth edition is dedicated to Portmeirion in North Wales, that extraordinary, Italian-inspired coastal village created by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis over several decades. To mark Portmeirion’s 100th anniversary in 2026, “The Village” combines the Welsh whisky tradition with a distinctive cultural reference. The finish in Amarone casks plays a special role here, imparting intense fruit, spicy oak and a wine-like depth to the whisky. It is bottled at a robust 46% ABV, without chill filtration and without colouring.
