El Jimador Tequila Blanco 100% Blue Agave is a classic Blanco tequila from Mexico, made entirely from 100% blue Weber agave. The mature agaves are harvested by hand by experienced jimadores, who use the characteristic, sharply honed ‘coas’ to remove the leaves. Natural fermentation is used in the production process: wild yeasts from the area around Casa Herradura aid fermentation in open vats, thereby shaping the fresh character of the distillate. The tequila is then double-distilled to produce a clear Blanco with pronounced agave notes. No sugar or sweeteners are added.

As an unaged Blanco tequila, El Jimador Blanco does not undergo traditional cask ageing, which means that the original characteristics of the Blue Weber agave are preserved particularly clearly. The El Jimador brand is closely linked to the traditional craft of agave harvesting and takes its name from the jimadores, who are responsible for selecting and harvesting the agaves. With an alcohol content of 38% and a bottle size of 0.7 litres, El Jimador Blanco 100% Agave Tequila is ideal both for drinking neat and as a versatile base for classic Mexican cocktails.
