The Kilkerran 8 Years Old Campbeltown Single Malt Bourbon Cask Matured 57.7% vol. 0.7 l is a robust Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky from the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. The Kilkerran brand stands for authentic Campbeltown single malt whiskies, produced using traditional methods and reflecting the characteristic style of this historic whisky region. This bottling forms part of the distillery’s limited-edition Core Range and is released annually as a cask-strength edition, with previous editions having matured in various cask types such as bourbon, port or sherry casks. The current bottling has been matured entirely in American oak bourbon casks.


The single malt Scotch whisky was stored in bourbon casks for 8 years and then bottled at a robust 57.7% ABV cask strength. As is typical for the distillery, the whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without colouring, thereby fully preserving the whisky’s natural structure and aromatics. This philosophy results in a particularly authentic and intense Campbeltown single malt, which combines the maritime character of the region with sweet and fruity flavours.
