Botran KI’ Ron de Guatemala Rum 40% ABV 0.7 l is a characterful premium rum from Guatemala, combining the Botran Rum Distillery’s time-honoured production methods with modern cask maturation. This Ron de Guatemala is produced using sugar cane syrup (Virgin Sugar Cane Honey), which results in a particularly smooth and aromatically rich style. The rum is gently distilled before being matured in a sophisticated dynamic ageing system (similar to the Solera method), which ensures a harmonious blend of different age groups.


Botran KI’ Rum is a blend of matured rums aged between 6 and 9 years, which are aged in a combination of four different cask types. The casks used include ex-bourbon casks (American whisky), including those with a medium char, as well as Oloroso sherry casks and Muscatel wine casks. This diverse cask maturation gives the Guatemalan rum a balanced structure with sweet, fruity and slightly spicy notes. With an alcohol content of 40 per cent, this Botran rum is well-rounded, approachable and versatile.
