The Mackmyra FUSION Swedish Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition 47.3% ABV 0.7 l + GB is an exceptional limited-edition Swedish single malt whisky that combines the innovative style of the Mackmyra Distillery with European wine culture. The Swedish distillery is regarded as a pioneer of modern Swedish single malt whisky production and is renowned for its experimental cask maturations and an unmistakable Nordic style. The Mackmyra Fusion bottling creates an exciting fusion of Scandinavian distilling craftsmanship and characterful wine casks.

A special combination of casks was selected for this Mackmyra Whisky. Maturation took place in Amarone wine casks and in so-called Rotspon wine casks. The term ‘Rotspon’ is a historical German expression for red cask wine and traditionally refers to red wine that was transported or stored in casks. This unusual combination of casks gives the Mackmyra Fusion whisky an intense aroma with pronounced fruity notes and an elegant wine-like character. This limited-edition Swedish whisky is bottled at 47.3% ABV, is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colourings, thereby fully preserving the whisky’s natural character.
