Fratelli Francoli Carissima Limoncello 30% vol. 0.7 l is a premium Italian limoncello that combines the traditional production methods of this popular lemon liqueur with modern precision and careful selection of raw materials. Produced by the renowned Fratelli Francoli distillery, this Italian limoncello is made from the zest of a total of ten different varieties of lemon. These come predominantly from the southern coast of Italy and lend the liqueur a particularly complex and full-bodied flavour. The combination of fresh and dried lemon zest, along with concentrated lemon juice, gives this premium lemon liqueur its characteristic intensity.


During production, the fresh lemon zest is macerated in two different alcohol strengths, which extracts the valuable essential oils from the peel. In addition, the lemon peel is steam-distilled to extract further aromatic compounds, which lend the Fratelli Francoli Limoncello its structure and depth. Dried lemon zest is also macerated over several days, resulting in particularly stable and long-lasting flavours. The lemon juice used is concentrated eightfold at a low temperature, giving the Limoncello liqueur a balanced freshness and a pleasantly lively acidity. A syrup is made using Italian beet sugar and soft spring water from Ghemme, which is then combined with the extracted macerates. The result is an aromatic Limoncello with an alcohol content of 30% vol., which is also produced in a climate-neutral manner and authentically reflects Italian culinary culture.
