All rums in this range are bottled without added sugar, colourings or chill filtration, and are aged in casks exclusively until they reach their optimum maturity. This single-origin Jamaican rum was distilled at the renowned Monymusk Distillery in Clarendon Parish. It is produced from molasses, whilst distillation takes place in modern column stills. This aged Jamaican rum was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022, giving it an age of 12 years. Maturation takes place in ex-bourbon casks and occurs in two phases: first, the rum is stored under tropical conditions in Jamaica, before the second phase of maturation takes place in Europe in refill bourbon casks. This combination ensures a harmonious balance between a robust distillate and elegant cask influence. The release is also limited to 5,500 bottles worldwide, making this limited-edition Jamaican rum particularly appealing to collectors and connoisseurs of authentic rums.
