Produced using classic Cuban rum distillates made from sugar cane molasses, this release combines traditional ageing expertise with a modern cask concept. The rum is matured predominantly in oak casks, with part of the ageing taking place in ex-Islay whisky casks. This choice of casks lends the rum a subtle smokiness that blends harmoniously into the overall profile without overshadowing the typical Cuban style.


Bottled at 40% and presented in a generous 1-litre bottle, this dark Cuban rum is well-balanced, structured and clearly defined. Maturation in ex-Islay whisky casks adds depth and a finely integrated, dry smokiness that clearly sets it apart from flavoured products.
