The Gaelic Whisky MACNAMARA Madeira Cask Finish Blended Scotch Whisky is a characterful expression that combines the classic tradition of blended Scotch whisky with a carefully selected Madeira cask finish. Under the name MacNamara, which originates from Gaelic and roughly translates as ‘son of the sea’, this expression embodies a maritime-inspired style that combines depth with approachability. This Scotch whisky is produced under the Gaelic Whisky brand, which focuses on distinctive cask finishes and well-balanced blends.

The MacNamara Blended Scotch Whisky is based on carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, which, after blending, undergo an additional finish in Madeira wine casks. This additional maturation lends the whisky extra complexity, a delicate fruity note and a gentle sweetness, without overshadowing the blend’s distinct character. Bottled at 40 per cent, this Madeira Cask Finish whisky is harmonious, smooth and well-structured. The combination of classic Scottish whisky-making craftsmanship and sweet, spicy cask finishing makes it a versatile bottling with a long-lasting overall impression.
