Produced by Ron Barceló, this premium rum from the Dominican Republic is crafted from the nectar of the finest sugar cane, grown in Barceló’s own sugar cane fields. It is based on carefully selected reserves of particularly valuable rums, which are first matured in oak casks with varying degrees of toasting, precisely selected by experienced master coopers. Bottled at 43% and supplied with a gift box, this release is an expressive, elegant ‘Rare Blends’ rum.


Once the final blend has been composed, the Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask undergoes an additional maturation phase in new casks made from Japanese Mizunara oak, one of the rarest and finest oak varieties in the world. This exceptional type of cask lends the rum its distinctive depth, pronounced woody aromas and a unique flavour profile. Stylistically, this bottling is intense and wood-driven, yet at the same time harmonious and well-balanced.
