The Bowmore 19 Years Old Pinot Noir Cask Finish is an exceptional bottling from the renowned Travel Exclusive Series of the traditional Bowmore Distillery on Islay. This exclusive edition combines Bowmore's classic, maritime house style with the elegant depth of selected Pinot Noir wine casks from Burgundy. The distillery, founded in 1779 and thus one of the oldest in Scotland, stands for finely balanced Islay whisky with a subtle smokiness and complex structure.


This Islay single malt initially matured for many years in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak before being given an expressive finish in Pinot Noir barriques. This special maturation gives the whisky additional depth, finely integrated fruit flavours and an elegant, slightly vinous dimension. Bottled at 43%, this bottling is harmonious, multi-layered and full of character. As a Travel Exclusive, it is only available in travel retail and is aimed at connoisseurs who are looking for special cask maturations and limited Bowmore interpretations.
