The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Years Old Triple Aged Spirit Drink combines Caribbean distillates with the traditional cask culture of the Spanish Sherry Triangle in Andalusia. It begins with selected distillates from Barbados and Guyana, which are first matured for five years in the Caribbean. They are then transported to Jerez de la Frontera, where the second phase of this special ageing process begins. There, they are first stored for three years in former Palo Cortado sherry casks, followed by a further two years in casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. This results in a total of 5+5 years’ maturation across different cask types and climate zones, which gives Dos Maderas its full-bodied, mature and smooth character.

The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Triple Aged Spirit Drink is bottled at 40% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle. The final maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks defines the distinctive combination of dark fruit, sherry character and spicy oak. The Spanish maturation is overseen by the long-established house of Williams & Humbert, whose history in Jerez dates back to the 19th century.
