The name ‘Natterjack’ is derived from a species of frog native to Ireland that is known for going its own way – a symbol of the brand’s philosophy. The whisky itself is a blend of pot still and grain whisky, initially matured in American white oak bourbon casks and then finished in virgin American oak casks. This double cask maturation gives Natterjack its unmistakable depth, warmth and vanilla notes, setting it apart from classic Irish blends.
