This blend is based on carefully selected matured rums from Barbados, renowned for their aromatic depth and elegant structure. The name ‘Dos Continentes’ refers to the fusion of different ageing traditions and cultures, which lend this spirit its distinctive character. The result is a harmonious premium Caribbean spirit that combines Caribbean rum-making expertise with European cask maturation.


The ageing process takes place in several stages and ensures a multi-layered flavour profile. First, the rum is aged for six years in ex-bourbon casks in its country of origin, Barbados. The spirit is then transferred to ex-sherry casks and subsequently matured further in ex-Banyuls wine casks, where it undergoes Solera maturation for around four years. This combination of Caribbean rum tradition and Spanish and French cask culture creates a unique balance of fruit, spice and elegant sweetness.
