As the name suggests, the Glen Turner TRIPLE CASK matures in three different types of cask. The main maturation takes place in classic ex-bourbon casks, which impart notes of vanilla, honey and caramel. This is complemented by ageing in sherry casks, which give the whisky additional depth, fruitiness and Werder. The maturation is rounded off with European oak casks, which contribute fine wood tones and a subtle tannin structure. This combination creates a single malt with a multi-layered flavour that clearly stands out from standard bottlings.
