This distillery is known for its robust, slightly spicy whiskies, which are predominantly used in blends and only rarely released as a single malt - usually via independent bottlers such as Signatory Vintage.

This whisky was distilled in 2016 and matured for 9 years in a single first fill oloroso sherry butt (cask #57) before being bottled at full cask strength in the 100 proof edition. The maturation in a fresh sherry cask gives it pronounced notes of dried fruit, spice and a fine sweetness. It is bottled uncoloured and not chill-filtered to preserve the authentic character of the cask.
