The Ron Aldea Familia Edición Limitada 2007 is an exclusive vintage rum from the Canary Island of La Palma, which was bottled in a limited edition. This rum comes from Destilerías Aldea, a family-run distillery that has been producing handcrafted rum specialities since 1936 - and consistently uses freshly pressed sugar cane juice (rhum agricole) instead of molasses. This results in a particularly aromatic, authentic rum with a distinct terroir character.

The "Familia 2007" edition was distilled in 2007 and matured for over a decade in carefully selected oak barrels, including former wine barrels and bourbon casks. The long maturation on the island gives the rum depth, structure and a finely tuned balance between fruit, wood and spicy notes.
