This exceptional Solera bottling is a blend of selected rums that have been matured over several decades using the traditional Sistema Solera method - with proportions of up to 33 years.

The name Ron Cueva 1501 refers to the Cueva tribe, one of the earliest indigenous peoples of Panama, who were sighted by Spanish explorers in 1501. By 1535, this tribe had disappeared as a result of conquest and disease. The Roner Cueva is a monument to their heritage. Today, the producer actively supports indigenous communities in Panama through social projects - and is bringing a piece of history back to the present with this bottling.

The rum impresses with its deep mahogany colour, its density and an expressive interplay of aromas, which is characterised by its long maturation in oak barrels. It is one of the oldest Solera rums on the market and is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate depth, complexity and origin.
