Description
With this exclusive bottling, the leading Indian distillery Amrut Distilleries presents a true collector’s item: the Amrut Ex-Oloroso Peated Single Malt Whisky from the limited-edition Foundations Collection is a masterfully crafted Indian single malt that impresses with both its provenance and its cask selection. This edition comes from Cask #3507, a former Oloroso sherry cask, which has played a decisive role in shaping the complex character of this rarity.
The base of this whisky is peated barley malt from Scotland, which was processed in India. The whisky was distilled in August 2017 and bottled in July 2024 at cask strength – a robust 60% ABV – without any chill filtration or colouring. There are only 462 bottles of this unique release worldwide. A real highlight for lovers of smoky, sherry-cask-matured whiskies with an exotic flair and collector’s value.
