The Douglas Laing Old Particular Girvan 16 Years Old 2008 is an exclusive single grain bottling from Douglas Laing’s renowned Old Particular range, which is characterised by exceptional single cask bottlings. Produced at the Girvan Distillery, one of Scotland’s best-known grain distilleries, this whisky boasts a remarkable 16 years’ maturation and has been bottled at 48.4% ABV.
This single grain whisky was matured in a carefully selected refill hogshead cask, allowing it to develop a perfect balance of sweet, fruity and spicy notes. The long maturation lends it an elegant smoothness, whilst the natural grain notes and cask influences provide a harmonious depth and complexity.
Like all bottlings in the Old Particular range, this whisky has not been chill-filtered and has been bottled without colouring agents to preserve its natural authenticity and full range of flavours.
