For more than 150 years, the independent whisky company has been synonymous with the careful selection and maturation of single malt Scotch whisky. Founded in 1868, the company is a family business that has been in the hands of the Morrison family from generation to generation - a name that is deeply intertwined with the heritage and tradition of whisky.

The Eastern Highlands of Scotland are close to the famous whisky region of Speyside, where the Ardmore Malt Distillery has been operating since 1898. The Ardmore 2013, a 10-year-old single malt, comes from there. However, this was matured and bottled under the direction of independent bottler A.D. Rattray in the Lowlands. Each year, the bottler selects just 6 to 8 individual casks, which are bottled at the perfect moment of maturation. Part of the Cask Collection No. 74, this whisky matured in a bourbon cask and was finally bottled at 58.8% alcohol by volume.
