The Edradour Whisky distillery, which is known for its characterful and intensely peated malts, has created a series with the "Ballechin" that appeals to lovers of smoky whiskies.

In 2024, the renowned distillery presented a special single malt from this series, aptly named "Trick or Peat", to mark the Halloween celebrations. This whisky is 13 years old and, according to the distillery, was matured in selected bourbon casks from 2010 to 2024. Bottled with an alcohol content of 46.6%, "Trick or Peat" is characterised by its natural colour, as no colouring agents have been used. It has also not been chill-filtered in order to preserve its full flavour.

The special edition, limited to 666 bottles, is aimed specifically at collectors and connoisseurs.
